ΕΥΓΝΩΜΟΣΥΝΗ.

Στάσου σώμα και στοχάσου

της καρδιάς σου τον παλμό,

η ψυχή σου παιανίζει

του Δαυϊδ κάποιο ψαλμό.

Ένα μήνυμα σου στέλνει

απ’ τα βάθη των αιώνων

μες  το πέρασμα των χρόνων.

Αθάνατα έχουν βιώσει

αληθείας μονοπάτια,

δύναμη σου έχουν δώσει

πίστη, σθένος στην ψυχή.

Στάσου, τώρα κλίνε γόνυ

βλέμμα ύψωσε θερμό

στείλε την ευγνωμοσύνη

ταπεινό ευχαριστώ.

Στον Δημιουργό των Πάντων

Εις τον { Άναρχο Θεό }.

ON  THE PODIUM OF OUR SOU

When hearts live in peace and walking  together,

roads become negotiable, paths ate brightening,

the skies open, universes are in harmony.

When the sky is shining, clouds clear,

the sky  is pure white in the dome of our soul,

faith and hope gleaming courageous.

And unite all people with divine harmony

In front of the immaculate altar,  on the podium of our soul.

ΣΤΟ ΒΑΘΡΟ ΤΗΣ ΨΥΧΗΣ ΜΑΣ.

Όταν μονιάζουν οι καρδιές

κι αντάμα προχωράνε

εύκολοι δρόμοι γίνονται

ξανοίγουν μονοπάτια.

Ανοίγουν τα ουράνια

τα σύμπαντα ταιριάζουν,

σαν λάμπει το στερέωμα

τα σύννεφα μεριάζουν.

Ολόλευκος ο ουρανός

στο θόλο της ψυχής μας

και λαμπυρίζει θαρρετή

η πίστη, η ελπίδα.

Που ενώνει όλους τους λαούς

με Θεϊκή αρμονία

εμπρός στον άμωμο βωμό

MRS. CHRISTINA IATROU -  SOITARIDIS, the Greek poetess and writer was born on September 7, 1944, in the historic and beautiful peninsula of Chalkidiki in Greece. She learned the first letters in her hometown. In 1960, she immigrated with her parents Konstantinos and Zacharenia Iatrou to Australia. Christina is a member of many Literary Associations  in Australia (“Antipodes”, “O Logos”) and Greece (“Union of Greek Writers”, “International Society of Greek Writers and Artists”). Her poems have appeared in Poetry Anthologies and have been translated in English. Her writing has received awards from national and international literary competitions. She lives in Melbourne with her husband Konstantinos and their children Les and Rena Soitaridis.
