WELCOME
TO
OUR POETRY ARCHIVE
Born within a dream
To see beyond the world’s realm
It is to be seen
~ Stacia Lynn Reynolds ~

As poets, we have aspiration of purpose which move us beyond what the world perceives with their eyes. We see, within our minds, images that produce thoughts of emotion. We push beyond the world’s realm, building our castles in the air. Whether our castles are built upon the illusions of the imagination, or actualities of truth, we provide the path for delivering the objects which we envisage. We contemplate and consider every aspect of life, observing the world with the purpose of expressing our observations. We take in what we perceive, reflect upon our perceptions, then write beyond what the physical eye sees into a melodic rhythm of words.

Every writer has a purpose and place in this world. Every writer’s words matter and make a difference; building upon the foundation of written words in the literary world. The unique diversity that makes Our Poetry Archive strong and strive, is the mutual respect and admiration of every writer. We recognize that everyone is born within a dream, seeing beyond the world’s realm, and is seen in each word expressed. We are making an effort to expand our horizons, uniting poets and poetess from across the world in one mutual cause. So as poets, poetess, readers, and supporters of OPA, we must constantly endeavor if we are to succeed in the pursuit of totality; combining into one harmonious mix.

Robert Frost was quoted…
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.”

Let us all make a difference in the world, uniting for the cause of respect and admiration of expressed thought through our words. Let us build our castles in the air, going beyond the world’s realm, because we were all born with a dream, and so shall we rise with a purpose.

May all our dreams live on and stars shine bright through every edition of OPA, along with the monthly spotlight shining upon “The Poet of the Month.”

In the July Edition of OPA, we are pleased to introduce Poet Thomas DeAngelo in his own words. We appreciate every participant who has agreed to be interviewed beginning with Ana Nedelcu, followed by Sandy Sass, then Michael Marrotti. It has been an exciting adventure, and a great pleasure reading everyone’s answers from the interviews. We are also pleased to announce August’s Poet of the Month, the beautiful and inspirational poetess Irsa Ruci. We look forward to learning about her writing experiences and aspirations as well.

Those who would like to participate in our upcoming editions, please send at least three poems and a profile picture, along with the explicit confirmation of your permission for publication in OPA well before the 21st of every month. Our mail address is ourpoetryarchive@gmail.com

Author Stacia Lynn Reynolds, editor, sincerely thanks each and every poet, poetess and reader who is actively involved in this wonderful blog and continued support of Our Poetry Archive.
